The lunch special it’s so outstanding it’s delicious I totally forgot to take a picture of the ginger salads and the spring rolls it’s so good this restaurant have a very great tastes of food! It was the perfect date that my husband and I spent Valentine’s Day at.

Let me just start by saying — Green Mango by Thai Spice in Austin is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. I’m a repeat customer for a reason, and every visit just reinforces why I can’t get enough of this place. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. They serve halal chicken, which is a huge plus and something I deeply appreciate — especially when it’s this good. I usually order the Pad See Eue, and it’s consistently flavorful, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The wide rice noodles have that perfect chew, the sauce is rich and slightly smoky, and the halal chicken adds the perfect savory touch. It’s one of those dishes you think about days later. And no meal here is complete without their mango sticky rice — I honestly can’t hype it up enough. The rice is soft and warm, the coconut sauce is silky and just the right amount of sweet, and the mango? Always fresh, juicy, and ripe. It’s one of those desserts that makes you stop mid-bite and smile — it’s that good. What also keeps me coming back is how friendly and welcoming the staff are. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing takeout, they’re always kind, quick, and attentive. There’s just a good vibe to the whole place — you feel taken care of and appreciated as a customer. If you’re in Austin and looking for delicious, authentic Thai food with halal options, Green Mango by Thai Spice is the place to go. I’ve been back multiple times, and every time it hits the mark. You’ll probably find yourself hooked after one visit too

Nice place that serves authentic Thai cuisines. Has #halal chicken options. We tried the chicken cashewnut , nuggets, dumplings and pad thai. Everything was served hot and looked great. Pad thai was lacking in taste and the chicken cashew has pineapple which I wasn't expecting. But all in all it was a good experience. The staff was courteous and the food was served quick. They have a nice patio if you prefer to dine outside.

Green Mango is a great Thai restaurant out near 620 and 2222. It is in a shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants kind of on the southwest end. They have a specific lunch menu, which is excellent as well as a full dinner menu. There’s also a bar and a lot of outdoor seating which is very nice if it is not too hot. Every time I come here, the food has been great, and the servers are fantastic. It’s best to come with a few people so that you can try multiple dishes. The Pad Thai is excellent as are the curries that I’ve had. Next time I will try the Thai fried rice. It’s well worth the trip here even if you do not live nearby.

Had a good dining experience here. In the appetizer, the curry puffs were really good. The hot n sour soup was not that great. The green curry was also not good. However, the pad thai was good, and we really liked it. The chicken tenders and fries were also crispy and tasted good. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are a bit on the higher side, considering the taste and portion size of some of the dishes. But will definitely visit again to try out some other items that caught our eye.

We went here on a Saturday night and the place had plenty of seating available. We had the cheese rolls, green curry and Pad Ke Mao. The cheese rolls were good and the dipping sauce was excellent. The green curry despite asking for medium was spicy. We loved that it was spicy and we were glad we didn’t ask for it to be spicy to begin with. Pad ke mao was good and had a nice Smokey flavor to it. We felt the food was good but was pricey for the portion sizes.

Absolutely loved it! The ginger chicken, sugar snap peas, sautéed vegetables were just cooked to perfection! The food here is excellent and the service was wonderful too. Give this place a try, and you will not be disappointed.
